Signal library

Seven signals. The bridge between layers.

These signals appear across JITAI, affective computing, and learning analytics research. They are not invented for this framework. The contribution is organising established signals into a coherent taxonomy with explicit ABSD layer mappings.

Important
These mappings represent base associations - the most common signal-to-state relationship in the absence of countervailing context. A 30-second pause before a complex financial trade may indicate deliberate prudence, not confusion. Always apply contextual modifiers before acting on any single signal.
See signals in motion
Watch a real signal traced from Action to Drive.

The Signal Tracer takes a specific behavioural event in your domain and shows the full inference chain — what each layer captures, what it misses, and where ABSD continues beyond where current systems stop.
